The Parks and Recreation Department is all recreation, all the time. We are passionate about our Town parks and facilities and committed to providing innovative and age-appropriate programming that connects with each and every community member to promote healthy and active lifestyles.
The Department proudly provides the following services:
Adult Coed Volleyball League
Congratulations to all teams that were involved in the Inaugural Mammoth Lakes Adult Coed Volleyball League, and a big round of applause for our 2018 League Champions - Team Cox! We hope to see you all this summer at the 2nd Annual Beach Volleyball Tournament.
Registration for our summer camps, programs, and swim lessons opened on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. P.S.T. Spots are still available in the following camps: Climbing Camps (Minis), Climbing Camp IV (Child and Youth), Climbing Camp V (Child & Youth), Husky Prep Tennis Camp, Jr. Lifeguard Camp, Mammoth Adventure Camp II (Mini), Wave Rave Skate Camps (Minis), Week Long Group Swim Lessons, Wilderness Camps (Minis), Wilderness Camp III (Youth), Youth Tennis Camp, Youtheatre (Oklahoma!), Challenger Sports Soccer Camps, and UK International Soccer Camps.
New! Wave Rave Adult Skate Camp | July 9-10
Interested in skateboarding but don't know where to start? Want to brush up on some old skills or refine existing ones. Join us at our first ever Wave Rave Adult Skate Camp July 9-10 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Volcom Brothers Skate Park. This will be a fun learning atmosphere similar to our Wave Rave Skate Camps for kids. All levels welcome and bring the family too! Registration and helmets are required.
Little Sluggers T-Ball | May 2 - June 6, 2018
Introduce your young two to five year old to the sport of baseball! We will be meeting on Wednesday evenings from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m. at the Mammoth Elementary School fields. Parent participation is required. Register today!
Toddler time takes place on Tuesdays at the Mammoth Lakes Community Center. Each 4-week session is $48, sibling and drop-in rates available.
Peapod Playgroups will resume at the Mammoth Community Center on February 15, 2018. Connect with parents and children in your area. All Mono County expecting parents and families with children birth to five are invited to participate.
