The Parks and Recreation Department is all recreation, all the time. We are passionate about our Town parks and facilities and committed to providing innovative and age-appropriate programming that connects with each and every community member to promote healthy and active lifestyles.

What's Happening!

6-Week Ice Skating Lessons

Mondays from January 8, 2018 to February 12, 2018 (weather permitting). Times vary based on grade level. All levels welcome. The program fee is $50 and includes skate and helmet rentals. 


Adult Curling League

Join Mammoth Lake's Inaugural Adult Curling League! The league will be meeting on Sunday evenings starting on January 7 through February 11. Matches will be scheduled for 7:00 or 8:00 p.m. Schedule is dependent on the number of teams that sign up and weather. Our first season should provide for a lot of learning and laughs on the ice.



Mammoth Youth Hockey

Meeting every Monday and Wednesday starting December 4, 2017. There will be two clinics per evening. Learn to skate/hockey skills will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and hockey skills clinic will be from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. Cost is $99 for the season. For more info email MammothYouthHockey@gmail.com. 


Toddler Time

Toddler time takes place on Tuesdays at the Mammoth Lakes Community Center. Each 4-week session is $48, sibling and drop-in rates available.

We have a variety of spaces available for your next family reunion, conference or sporting event. Reserve yours today!

Special Event Permits

Event organizers are required to submit a special event permit application form that includes a detailed operating plan. Please submit at least 30 days prior to your event. More info.
