The Mammoth Ice Rink is owned and operated by the Town of Mammoth Lakes through a partnership with the Mammoth Unified School District and Mono County Office of Education. The Town of Mammoth Lakes is committed to providing the most enjoyable outdoor ice-skating experience possible. Weather permitting, the Mammoth Ice Rink is open 7-days a week with public skating sessions offered every day.
 
LIVE SCHEDULE AND SESSION TIMES

The Mammoth Ice Rink is scheduled to close on Sunday, March 4 (weather permitting). Join us to celebrate a record-breaking season and get some ice time in before it's too late! Closing week promotions, in conjunction with the 11th Annual USA Hockey Weekend Across America, include:

  • MMSA Employee Skate Night on Tuesday, February 27 from 7:30-10:00pm. $5 (incl. rentals) for employees and dependents.
  • Final Learn to Curl Clinic on Thursday, March 1 from 4:15-6:15pm. $5/person.
  • FREE Learn to Play Hockey Clinic for adults and youths on Friday, March 2 from 5:30-7:30pm. Advanced registration required - in person at the Mammoth Ice Rink or call (760) 965-3695.
  • Mammoth Stars Youth Hockey Exhibition Game on Saturday, March 3 from 6:00-7:30pm.
  • Enjoy FREE admission on Sunday, March 4 when you wear your favorite hockey jersey.

AMENITIES


Amenities include skate sharpening, skate rentals and snack and beverage services. The Mammoth Ice Rink is a drug, tobacco and alcohol free facility. Kids 4 and under must skate with an adult, and children 10 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times.

The Mammoth Ice Rink is located at 416 Sierra Park Road adjacent to the Mammoth Lakes Library and opposite the Mammoth High School near the corner of Meridian Boulevard and Sierra Park Road. The Mammoth Ice Rink phone is (760) 965-3695 or call the Recreation Department office at (760) 965-3690. 

Please consider taking the Main Lodge – Village/Vons – Snowcreek Shuttle (Red Line) or the Mid-Town LIFT (Purple Line) to the Ice Rink as parking is limited.
