The Engineering Services Division reviews development-related applications such as lot line adjustments, tentative and final maps, and improvement and grading plans. The division also performs inspections for both public and private development projects.

Responsibilities
The division is responsible for implementing the Capital Improvement Program, provides design and construction management services, and builds major projects supported by development impact fees, grants, and assessment districts. These projects include assessment district creation and maintenance, street rehabilitation, and master-planned facilities (trails, sidewalks, and storm drains).
