Whether you’re looking for family fun at our many parks, challenging your endurance on our many trails or replenishing your spirit in the great outdoors, we hope you’ll take advantage of what our team has created, and what awaits you in Mammoth Lakes…Your recreation Nirvana!

Select from a diverse array of programs/events, summer camps, leagues and tournaments, swim lessons, tennis lessons, soccer camps/clinics, and our new Gymnastics/Tumbling program or Zumba Fitness class offered by the Recreation Department and our many community partners.

We’ll look for you in the parks, on the trails or in the pool!

Register for your program by visiting the office, calling us, or request a registration form via email.

Mail in Registration: Call the Recreation Department office and we’ll send you an official Program Registration form. Mail completed registration form and check (no cash) to: Town of Mammoth Lakes Recreation Department at the listed mailing address.

Walk-in registration: Available at the location and times listed.

General Information and Refund Policy: All programs are filled on a first-come-first serve basis and are subject to cancellation or schedule change. Activities are closed when maximum enrollment is met. A $40 service charge will be applied to all returned checks. If the class is full when your check is received, your check will be returned to you by mail and your name will be placed on a waiting list.

All refunds require the approval of the Recreation Director and will be assessed a $6 service charge. Refund requests must be received in writing no later than the first class meeting and are not granted without a medical note from a doctor. There are NO make-ups or refunds for missed classes. Full refunds, excluding cash, will be issued for any class or trip cancelled by the Town of Mammoth Lakes Parks and Recreation Department. Checks will be issued 2-3 weeks following the approved refund request. The Town will issue refunds for medically excused absences in the form of credit.
