Below are brief descriptions of our summer camp offerings. Stay tuned for details on our 2017 summer programming. Space is limited in our camps and many filled up quickly this past summer, so be sure to register early to reserve your spot! We offer a variety of programs for all age groups, so come out and find your niche, or try out something new!

We don’t want a family’s financial difficulties to prevent any child from participating in Town of Mammoth Lakes recreation programs. We offer full and partial registration scholarships for those in need. If your family is facing financial difficulties, we invite you to complete our confidential scholarship application which is available online and at registration. There is no deadline to apply for scholarship funds but we do ask that applications are turned in prior to the start of the program(s). Scholarship awards are limited, based upon need, available funds and number of qualifying applicants. Applications are reviewed on a case by case basis. Please allow at least one week for the review and processing of your application. Once a decision has been made, the Parks & Recreation office will contact you via phone. Wave Rave Skate Camps
Details: Designed for beginner to intermediate skaters 3-14 years old, this 3 day camp will have you ready to shred in no time! Excellent cross-training for snowboarding and top recommended camp for active kids.
Details: Enjoy the Mammoth outdoors in this 4-day camp for 3-14 year olds that includes day hikes, outdoor games, bouldering, cave exploring, survival shelters, and an overnight campout complete with a robust dinner and campfire activities.
Mammoth Adventure Camp
Details: The ultimate Mammoth camp for ages 3-14! Enjoy beach volleyball, kayaking, street hockey, Frisbee golf, mini golf, mini ramps, bbq’s, swimming, mountain biking, overnight campout, and more during this 5 day camp.
Youth Climbing Camp
ropes? Hosted by the Sierra Rock Climbing School this youth camp is perfect for
the aspiring climber ages 3-14 who wants to have fun, climb safely, and learn
valuable climbing techniques. Instruction and all climbing gear are provided for this awesome 2 day camp.
Youtheatre Drama Camp
Details: Youtheatre is a fun drama camp offered for 5-10 yr. olds and 11-17 year olds. This 2 week camp is a summer favorite! Each age group will practice and put on a play as the camp finale. The 2016 presentations included "Annie" and "Peter Pan." Come and put on a show and have a blast!
Summer Next Level Basketball Academy
Details: Want to take your basketball game to the next level? This camp is perfect for 8 - 14 year olds who seek to gain greater skills and understanding
of the game through intense practice of basic skills.
School's Out Camp
Details: Come join us in our fun and exciting School's Out Camp! This 5 day camp is all encompassing with swimming, exploring, games, and a final night camp out! This camp is for ages 6-14 and is a great opportunity to come get the "ya yas" out after a year in school!
Mono Arts Council Kids Art Camp
The Mono Arts Council will be offering a series of FREE summer art camps for children 5 and older. There will be multiple 3 day sessions throughout the summer. Meet your true inner artist at this creative camp! Visit http://monoarts.org/kids-camps/ for more information.
Mountain Bike Camp
Details: Let's hit the trails together in our new Mountain Bike Camp! For 11-14 year olds, this 5 day camp will be sure to spark your sense of adventure while teaching you how to explore on a mountain bike safely. We will hit the trails around Mammoth and Crowley, and finish up the week camping overnight as a group.
Girl Power Camp
Details: We are excited for you to join us for this all new camp! Girl Power Camp is designed to help young girls ages 9-14 embrace who they are as individuals and as girls! The week will include rollerblading, biking, hiking, arts and crafts, a sleepover, and more!
Junior Lifeguard Camp
Details: This 5 day camp is designed to teach 11-14 year olds skills necessary to enroll in the Red Cross Lifeguard Certification program. The five critical areas of instruction include prevention, fitness, response, leadership, and professionalism.
UK Soccer Camp
Details: This fun, challenging and skill-filled camp will perfect your soccer skills and expose you to new techniques. This 5 day camp is offered in full and half day sessions and is available for ages 4-14.
Challenger Sports Soccer Camp
We've teamed up with Challenger Sports to bring you another fun summer of soccer camps. Learn new skills, make new friends and get tips from the pros in this week long session. With options for ages 4-14, half-day and full-day, and all ability levels, you can customize your experience and level of engagement in the sport.

Husky Prep Tennis Camp
Who: Ages 12-18 yrs. old
Info: For Jr. high and high school players that aspire to grow in the sport. Stroke improvement, strategy and conditioning emphasized.
