Youth Gymnastics Camp
"Eat, breathe, sleep gymnastics...can't get enough? Come join our instructor Melissa Perkins, for three sessions of gymnastic camps this summer! Each 3 day camp includes 4 hours of gymnastics each day! Campers will be training on all four woman's Olympic apparatus, along with other camp fun such as games, movie's, pizza and a sleepover on Saturday night.
What to bring for every day: Water bottle, comfortable clothes.
Sleepover: Pillow, sleeping bag, toiletry items, pj’s, change of clothes.
Ages 6 – 14; minimum 5/10 participants max for each session

Session 2: Aug. 23-25, 2013
Cost: $160/ $55 daily drop in rate

U.K. International Soccer Camps
Select from TWO world class soccer camps this summer! Professional British soccer coaches will once again host these popular camps. Coaches provide a safe, educational and FUN program for all. Both camps offer Full-day and Half-day options!
The program is offered to all players within the community and is split into the following age appropriate levels:
- Fun in the Sun (4-6 years): Fun, exciting games to build confidence and teach fundamentals.
- Skills ‘N’ Thrills (7-10 years): Technical development and skill building in a stimulating environment.
- Compete with your Feet (11-16 years): Challenging game related situations to enhance technical and tactical knowledge.
Each day includes individual footskills, small side games, coached scrimmages and a daily tournament. There is an awards ceremony at the end of the camp week for family members to come and watch the players receive their awards, as well as, the important World Cup Finals! Camp Fee includes: A UK International Soccer camp T- Shirt, player of the week awards, World Cup prizes and an individual evaluation certificate.
Participants are asked to bring cleats, shin guards, soccer ball, snacks and a water bottle. Full day campers will need to bring lunch every day. Full Day Campers receive a free UK Soccer ball.

Grom Mania Skate Camps
Designed for beginner to intermediate skaters, the Skate Camp will meet daily at the Shady Rest Skate Park for drop-off and pick-up. In addition to a heavy emphasis on street scene skateboarding, the camp will also travel to summer hot spots and enjoy activities like bowling, swimming, and vert skating. The schedules for these three day camps are available at the Recreation Office. Helmet, elbow pads and kneepads are required.

Session 2: July 24–26

Wave Rave Concrete Kommandos
Ready to take your skating to another level? This camp co-sponsored by Wave Rave Skate and Snowboard Shop here in Mammoth is staffed with local riders. Designed for intermediate to advanced skaters, the Wave Rave Concrete Kommandos Skate Camp will meet daily at the Trails End Park-Volcom Brothers Skate Park for drop-off and pick-up. The schedule for this Wednesday through Friday camp is available at the Recreation Office. Helmet, elbow pads and kneepads are required.
Who: Ages 7-13 years, prior skate camp experience helpful
When: Session I: August 7 – 9, 2013
Session 2: August 21-23, 2013 (On the 22nd and 23rd we'll meet after school)
Where: Mammoth area; camp meets at Trails End Park -Volcom Brothers Skate Park Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp
Challenger Sports British Soccer Camps provide players of all ages and abilities with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily tournament. Equally important, the Challenger coaching staff provides your child with lessons in respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership. Camp programs include a free ball and t-shirt. Mammoth Adventure Camp
Enjoy the active outdoors in this camp that includes fun with mountain biking, beach volleyball, flag football, street hockey, swimming, and much more. Excursions around town are also planned, with a lunch or two out and possibly a movie. On Thursday night we’ll camp out, please see the camp itinerary for all the details.

Wilderness Camps
Enjoy the Mammoth outdoors in this exciting camp that includes day hikes, outdoor games, bouldering, and map reading. Each day includes a different day hike along with a variety of outdoor activities and concludes with an overnight campout at a local campground. Campers participating in the overnight activity will be responsible for their own supplies.
Who: Ages 7–13

Youth Climbing Camp
The Sierra Rock Climbing School Youth Climbing Camp is a unique opportunity for young people to learn rock climbing from professional guides in a supportive and safe environment. The focus of the camps is having fun, climbing safely and learning valuable climbing techniques. Camps take place in various climbing areas around the Eastern Sierra and are offered for beginner through advanced climbers.
For reservations please call the Recreation Department at (760) 934-8989 ext. 222. Rock climbing instruction and all climbing gear will be provided: including shoes, harnesses, helmets, belay devices and ropes. Nowhere else can you get such expert instruction at entry level cost on the Eastside!
What to bring: Please bring lunch and at least a half-gallon of water per person, shorts and a T-shirt as well as long pants, long shirt, raingear, sunscreen, any necessary medications and a small backpack to store all items.
Who: Ages 6 and older
When: Session 1: July 22–23 / Session 2: August 5–6 / Session 3: August 19–20

Showboat Youtheatre Drama Camps
Youtheatre Summer Productions: Surf's Up! and Aquanet
We welcome back Showboat Youtheatre—which may very well be the best youth camp offered all summer, thanks to Ann!—to Mammoth Lakes. This summer, the group will present two great performances upon conclusion of the two-week theater workshop, performing either Surf's Up! or Aquanet on August 16-17, 2013. Under the guidance of Ann Monahan, children learn song, creative movement, and what it takes to put on a performance. Workshops fill up fast! A $20 deposit is required to reserve a space for your child, with final payments due no later than Friday, July 26, 2013, at 5:00 p.m.
