The Parks and Recreation Department is all recreation, all the time. We are passionate about our Town parks and facilities and committed to providing innovative and age-appropriate programming that connects with each and every community member to promote healthy and active lifestyles.

Mammoth Youth Hockey
Every Monday and Wednesday
Learn to Skate/Hockey Skills: 5:30-6:30 pm
Hockey Skills Clinic: 6:30-8:00 pm
Season starts November 27, 2017
$99 for the 2017/2018 Season

6-Week Ice Skating Lessons
Mondays from January 8, 2018 to February 12, 2018 (weather permitting). Times vary based on grade level. All levels welcome. The program fee is $50 and includes skate & helmet rentals. 

Adult Curling League
Join Mammoth Lake's Inaugural Adult Curling League! The league will be meeting on Sunday evenings starting on January 7 through February 11. Matches will be scheduled for 7:00 or 8:00 p.m. Schedule is dependent on the number of teams that sign up and weather. Our first season should provide for a lot of learning and laughs out on the ice.

Toddler Time
Toddler Time is back at the Mammoth Lakes Community Center! Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00 am. Each 4-week sessions is $48. Sibling discounts and drop-in rates available.

We have a variety of spaces available for your next family reunion, conference or sporting event. Reserve yours today!

Special Event Permits
Event organizers are required to submit a special event permit application form that includes a detailed operating plan. Please submit at least 30 days prior to your event. More info

The Parks and Recreation Department would like to hear what you have to say about our many community events, camps and programs.  If you participated in  youth and adult programs, or enjoyed the Whitmore Pool or one of our parks or facilities, please take the time to complete the Customer Satisfaction Survey.
