PLAN YOUR PARKS!

On March 20 and April 17, 2014 the Town hosted two community PLAN Your PARKS workshops at the Community Center.  A total of 122 recreation enthusiasts participated in the process with the goal of planning their parks.  All meeting notes and maps have been posted on the PLAN Your PARKS page.

Plan Your Parks” creates a specific Master Plan for the Whitmore Recreation Area, Mammoth Creek Park East & West, the Community Center - Playground & Tennis Courts, as well as the Bell Shaped Parcel.

The final outcome of the “PLAN Your PARKS” process is to obtain public consensus and Recreation Commission direction to develop a preferred conceptual design of each of the four the parks as well as select the location of the recreation/community center and aquatic center within the four parks.
