1st Annual Summer Recreation Open House
Never have a slow day in Mammoth again by attending the 1st annual Summer Recreation Open House sponsored by the Town of Mammoth Lakes Recreation Department. All parents are welcome to stop by and browse at the tables of various organizations offering recreation activities for infants, youth and teen age children. The inaugural Recreation Open House will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Mammoth Middle School MPR.

Summer Programs

2015 Summer camps and programs are now online and available for reservation. Have questions? Call us at (760) 934-8989 ext. 222, visit us in the Town offices located above Giovanni's or join us at the Recreation Open House on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 3-6PM at the Mammoth Middle School MPR.

NEW Camps!
New this year are our MiNi Signature Camps for 3-6 year olds, Aquatics Camp, Advanced Climbing Camp, Girl Power Camp, enhanced Tennis Program, including new Punch & Private Pass, Adult Doubles Camp & Social and Youth Tennis Camps, and finally expanded transit service to the Whitmore Recreation Area.

Parks and Facilities
The Town operates, maintains and rents several parks and facilities, including the new Whitmore Track and Sports Field.  The facility is now available for reservations.  Call (760) 934-8989 ext. 222 or reserve a facility online.

Explore the NEW Mammoth Lakes Trail System Website
The Mammoth Lakes Trail System offers boundless recreation opportunities on more than 300 miles of trails. From granite crags to trout-stocked lakes, pine forests to alpine meadows, there’s something for all seasons, interests and abilities, motorized and non-motorized alike. Managed jointly by the Town of Mammoth Lakes and the Inyo National Forest, the system includes connections to three wilderness areas, Devils Postpile National Monument, the Pacific Crest Trail and more. Many of these attractions are accessible right from the center of town! Explore and discover the adventures of a lifetime.
