Value of Municipal Recreation in Mammoth

Parks and Facilities
The Town operates, maintains and rents several parks and facilities, including the new Whitmore Track and Sports Field.  The facility is now available for reservations.  Call (760) 934-8989 ext. 222 or complete and submit the Facility Use Reservation Form.

The Recreation Department offers an Early Bird fee that includes a 20% discount on camp programs if purchased 5-days in advance. The regular fee is priced at the cost of the program. The purpose of this change is to encourage sign-ups by all camp users while removing obstacles to participation for any interested non-residents. The Early Bird fee does not apply to the drop-in daily rate or facility rental fees.  

In addition, a $5.00 family discount per child is offered after the first family member has paid the EB or REG. camp price.

Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (closed between 12:00-1:00pm for lunch)

Refund Policy: All activities are filled on a first-come-first serve basis and are subject to cancellation or schedule change. Activities are closed when maximum enrollment is met. A $40 service charge will be applied to all returned checks. If the class is full when your payment is received, your check will be returned to you by mail and your name will be placed on a waiting list.
