Winter Programs
The Mammoth Ice Rink is closed for the season, the Adult Coed Indoor Soccer League is underway, gymnastics/tumbling continues at the Community Center, and drama classes start at the Community Center on March 3.

Plan Your Parks!
Be part of your town’s recreation future and join us at these upcoming professionally facilitated “Plan Your Park” workshops beginning March 20.  The Town is gathering broad community input on programming priorities for parks and recreation facilities, including the examination of alternatives for new facilities (recreation center, aquatic center, etc.), and exploring opportunities for maximizing existing facilities (event venues, tennis courts, Frisbee golf, etc.).

Parks and Facilities
The Town operates, maintains and rents several parks and facilities, including the new Whitmore Track and Sports Field.  The facility is now available for reservations.  Call (760) 934-8989 ext. 222 or reserve a facility online.

PLAN YOUR PARKS!

Plan Your Parks” creates a specific Master Plan for the Whitmore Recreation Area, Mammoth Creek Park East & West, the Community Center - Playground & Tennis Courts, as well as the Bell Shaped Parcel.  


Workshops are scheduled on Thursday, March 20 and Thursday, April 17, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Mammoth Lakes Community Center located at the corner of Forest Trail and Minaret Rd. Lights snacks and refreshments will be served. For more information about “Plan Your Parks” please contact Recreation Manager, Stuart Brown at (760) 934-8989 ext. 210.

Explore the NEW Mammoth Lakes Trail System Website
The Mammoth Lakes Trail System offers boundless recreation opportunities on more than 300 miles of trails. From granite crags to trout-stocked lakes, pine forests to alpine meadows, there’s something for all seasons, interests and abilities, motorized and non-motorized alike. Managed jointly by the Town of Mammoth Lakes and the Inyo National Forest, the system includes connections to three wilderness areas, Devils Postpile National Monument, the Pacific Crest Trail and more.
