Never have a slow day in Mammoth Lakes again!

Recreation is an essential component of a healthy and vibrant community and the Parks & Recreation Department has a program for you this summer to keep you fit and healthy!

The Mammoth RecZone is OPEN!
The Mammoth RecZone is open Friday – Sunday from 3:00-9:00pm with FREE Admission every Friday night, FREE Skate Rental every Saturday night and street hockey programmed every Sunday from 4-6pm until September 18.

Tennis Lessons with Coach Kyle continue through October 13 at the Community Center Tennis Courts on Forest Trail - drop-in for sessions every Tuesday and Thursday between 3:30-5:30pm.

Parks and Facilities
The Town operates, maintains and rents several parks and facilities, including the new Whitmore Track and Sports Field.  The facility is now available for reservations.  Call (760) 965-3690 or reserve a facility online.

Special Event Permits
Event organizers are required to submit a special event permit application form. For information and to complete the form, click here

The Mammoth Lakes Trail System offers boundless recreation opportunities on more than 300 miles of trails. From granite crags to trout-stocked lakes, pine forests to alpine meadows, there’s something for all seasons, interests and abilities, motorized and non-motorized alike. Managed jointly by the Town of Mammoth Lakes and the Inyo National Forest, the system includes connections to three wilderness areas, Devils Postpile National Monument, the Pacific Crest Trail and more.
