

The Town of Mammoth Lakes Department of Public Works is responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of all publicly owned Town infrastructure, including streets, storm drains, public buildings, parking lots, and the Town’s fleet. The department is organized into three divisions, Engineering Services, Maintenance, and Garage Services. Please refer to the bar on the left for a direct link into the each division’s page.
There are a total of 24 full-time employees in the Department, including the Director of Public Works/Town Engineer who is responsible for all department operations. The Department also employs four full-time seasonal workers for winter snow removal and shares Community Development’s Permit Technician.
