Business Tax and Registration
All businesses operating in the Town of Mammoth Lakes are required to obtain a Business Tax Certificate. This includes home-based businesses, self-employed persons, and independent contractors. Transient rental businesses such as condominium rentals, property management companies, hotels, and motels should also visit the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) page and Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) page to obtain additional information on operating a lodging business in the Town of Mammoth Lakes.
