Avoid the town of Mammoth Lakes and the Lakes Basin by crossing Mammoth Pass north of Mammoth Mountain.

Aircraft Arriving From and Departing to the Owens Valley

Fly well out over Crowley Lake. Remain north of Owens River Gorge and Crowley Lake Dam in order to avoid flying over Highway 395 and its adjacent communities of Tom's Place, Sunny Slopes, Pine Glade, Crowley, McGee, and Long Valley.
