On Saturday, June 28, 2025, Mammoth Lakes Police Department Officers responded to the Mammoth Motocross event for reports of an unresponsive juvenile rider. Unfortunately, the juvenile was later pronounced deceased. Our hearts are with family and those affected during this difficult time.
Our Agency is actively investigating this incident and request anyone with information to contact the Mammoth Lakes Police Department at 760-965-3700. All inquiries regarding the coroner’s case should be directed to the Mono County Sheriff’s Office.
